What you don't know IS hurting you, your children, grandchildren and even your pets.

The industries profiting from health issues, environmental damage, and economic instability don't want you asking questions - or finding answers to questions you didn't know to ask. The information in this visitor-funded web site breaks down the connections between petrochemicals, corporate interests, and the entire profit-from-harm business plan. Read, think, and if it makes sense, share it. The more people who see the bigger picture, the harder it becomes to ignore.

It may be time for those of us who spent our lives attempting to educate consumers about the harms of toxic plastics and chemically saturated toxic lifestyles to admit defeat. Toxic household chems, millions of tons of plastics breaking down and offgassing all over the planet, the sky filled with suspended plasticizers and microplastics from dumping. There was just no way to get through to people.

As every major organ of the human body plugs up with plastics, unless you can afford transplant after transplant, this species is simply going to die out from all the poisons in food, water and air. Is likely too late to stop it at this point.

Plastics in the human body produce inflammation as the body tries desperately to find a way to remove the foreign material. As organs, such as the heart, swell in response to plastics in the tissue, when critical levels are reached, the organ shuts down because it simply can no longer function.

Plastics and plasticizers are found in the following:
HEART: "Then the team analyzed the samples with laser direct infrared imaging and identified 20 to 500 micrometer-wide particles made from eight types of plastic, including polyethylene terephthalate, polyvinyl chloride and poly(methyl methacrylate)."

BRAIN: "In our study we performed short term uptake studies in mice with orally administered polystyrene micro-/nanoparticles (9.55 µm, 1.14 µm, 0.293 µm). We show that nanometer sized particles—but not bigger particles—reach the brain within only 2 h after gavage."

LUNGS: "In this study, we determined the presence of microplastics in human lung tissues obtained at autopsies. Polymeric particles (n = 33) and fibres (n = 4) were observed in 13 of 20 tissue samples."

LIVER: "In contrast, microplastic concentrations in cirrhotic liver tissues tested positive and showed significantly higher concentrations compared to liver samples of individuals without underlying liver disease. Six different microplastic polymers ranging from 4 to 30 µm in size were detected."

KIDNEY: "The PS-NPs and PS-MPs caused mice weight loss, increased their death rate, significantly alternated several biomarkers, and resulted in histological damage of the kidney. We also found that exposure to PS-NPs and PS-MPs induced oxidative stress and the development of inflammation."

COLON: "Microplastics were detected in all 11 specimens with an average of 331 particles/individual specimen or 28.1 ± 15.4 particles/g tissue."

BLOOD: "Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), commonly used in disposable water bottles, was the most widely encountered plastic polymer and found in about 50 percent of the donors. The second most common, polystyrene (PS), which is used for food packaging and polystyrene foam, was found in about 36 percent, per the study."

PLACENTA: "Microplastics were detected in all placenta samples, with an average abundance of 2.70 ± 2.65 particles/g and a range of 0.28 to 9.55 particles/g. Among these microplastics, 11 polymer types were identified. The microplastics were mainly composed of polyvinyl chloride (PVC, 43.27 %), polypropylene (PP, 14.55 %), and polybutylene succinate (PBS, 10.90 %)."

TESTICLES: "Our study revealed the presence of microplastics in all canine and human testes, with significant inter-individual variability. Mean total microplastic levels were 122.63 µg/g in dogs and 328.44 µg/g in humans."

BABIES: "The estimated mean daily exposures from the diet of infants to PET and PC MPs were 83,000 and 860 ng/kg body weight per day, respectively, which were significantly higher than those of adults (PET: 5800 ng/kg-bw/day; PC: 200 ng/kg-bw/d). Our study suggests that infants are exposed to higher levels of MPs than adults."

Many people have been trying to wake people up to the harms of plastics both on the body and environment for decades, myself included. I'd repeat again that maybe it's time to consider giving up synthetic fabrics such as nylon/rayon/polyester, single use plastics, plastic pretty much everything, but it might be too late for that as our internal organs, and even our babies, plug up with microplastics.
