What you don't know IS hurting you, your children, grandchildren and even your pets.

The industries profiting from health issues, environmental damage, and economic instability don't want you asking questions - or finding answers to questions you didn't know to ask. The information in this visitor-funded web site breaks down the connections between petrochemicals, corporate interests, and the entire profit-from-harm business plan. Read, think, and if it makes sense, share it. The more people who see the bigger picture, the harder it becomes to ignore.

Just when you think it can't get worse, you find out, well, yes it can.

Here comes the next pandemic: The PFAS Pandemic.

I've covered harms by chemical exposures for thirty years. Most of my work focused on bisphenols with their numerous analogues and phthalates and their numerous analogues found in common consumer goods. As the consumer goods that contain these toxins enter the environment, these chemicals are now found in water, food and air as well as our bodies. Known and proven harms caused by these chemicals, including cancers, infertility, birth defects, heart damage, obesity, autism, etc. continue to increase as exposure levels increase. However, the harms to health and early deaths are blamed on anything and everything except exposure to chemicals proven to cause harms and early death. The attempts to warn others of the risks posed by exposure to these known toxins in common consumer goods either ignored, insulted or censored, blocked, banned and limited to the equivalent of whispering to myself in a closet. However, nothing has prepared me for the coming atrocity of PFAS poisoning, as these horrendous chemicals build up in the environment.

When exposed to bisphenols and phthalates, while much harm is caused by exposure in the womb, avoidance of these chemicals often results in reduced symptoms associated with exposure. While each has a dozen or so analogues, it really is possible to keep levels low enough to prevent harms caused by exposure. The body metabolizes them out rather quickly, they don't build up in the body. Since phthalates and bisphenols clear from the body rather quickly, avoidance dramatically reduces risks. Harms only occur when saturation is too high. This is bad, but solvable by reducing exposure so the body can handle exposures that cannot be avoided.

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a totally different animal. There are at least 15,000 PFAS substances. These chemicals bio-accumulate, taking 10-12 years for the body to clear them. Exposure levels from consumer goods, as well as contaminated air, water, soil, grains, meats, dairy, poultry, eggs, and fruit, continue to increase. Once levels in the body increase to a toxic load, it's impossible to remove them or prevent additional exposure. Currently, the only known way to reduce PFAS substance levels in the body is to have a baby or give blood/plasma frequently. Mothers offload PFAS into their babies via placenta and breast milk. PFAS are also offloaded during blood/plasma donations - contaminating the donations with PFAS for the recipients of the blood-based products. The PFAS substances levels in the mother or blood donor go down, however the baby is born pre-poisoned, if they survive at all and recipients of contaminated blood-based products enjoy increased poisons in their own bodies.

As an added sadistic twist, a new source of exposure to toxins proven to cause harm to health was introduced at the end of the Trump administration: de-regulated dumping of toxic PFAS/PFOA, etc into the water supply. Obviously, dumping poison into the water supply increases sickness, cancers, infertility, etc so they started the coverup at the same time as the dumping. As the toxins being dumped into the water supply increased in concentration, the coverup had already begun: blaming the virus/vaxx for the increased sickness, cancers, and obviously, deaths. It's not a "pandemic". It is CHEMICAL POISONING.

Health harms caused by PFAS substances include, but are not limited to:
Destroy immune function
Cancers: Kidney Cancer, Testicular Cancer, Breast Cancer, Ovarian and Endometrial Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and Thyroid Cancer, Thyroid Cancer and Childhood Leukemia
Birth defects
Cardiovascular damage (CVD)
Lung damage
Damage to liver
Damage to kidneys
etc...

Sources of exposure to PFAS substances, in addition to exposure from common consumer goods, include:
Contaminated drinking water, both publicly supplied and private wells.
Atmospheric, such as rain, snow, clouds, fog, mist, and air.
Atmospheric and water contamination with PFAS also contaminates the food supply, such as grains, fruits, meats, and dairy.

I have been begging people to reduce exposure to products that contain bisphenols and phthalates for 30 years. The products I have been begging people to get out of their homes and avoid contain not only the chemicals I was fully aware are harmful, but also PFAS substances - which are far worse. You might want to start getting products that contain known poisons out of your house...

Products that contain PFAS substances include, but are not limited to:
Non-stick cookware (Teflon)
Contacts
Toilet paper, dental floss, tampons and pads
Cleaning products
Cosmetics such as waterproof mascara and eyeliner
Personal care products such as soaps, lotions and shampoos
Certain types of leak/stain resistant food packaging
Food packaging such as fast-food wrappers
Microwave popcorn bags, pizza boxes and candy wrappers
Stain-resistant fabrics such as carpets and upholstery
Waterproof clothing and outdoor gear
Electrical wire insulation
Paints (including nail polish), varnishes and sealants
Firefighting foam

You might want to consider getting as many products that contain PFAS out of your house as possible. Because every day, they're increasing your risk of painful, debilitating and/or deadly harms to your health. You cannot reduce your exposure to environmental contamination, but you can reduce your exposure by getting products that may contain PFAS out of your home.
